Quality & Photo/Render Info
Colors in the final product may vary since renders are done under idealistic artificial lighting.
We try to use as many real pictures as we can to represent the keyboard as best as possible, however to supplement these photos we use renders occasionally. These renders may vary slightly compared to the final product.
A Stock units should not have any external scratches or egregious marks seen when built. Any internal flaws and marks (including hook marks) that are not seen when built do not constitute a B Stock unit.
Screw holes are not fully anodized or coated, and small marks near the hole opening might be present.
Wood Info
Soleil features both aluminum and natural wood components. Each wooden section is pre-installed at the factory to ensure a precise fit before shipping. However, as wood is a natural material, it is sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity. Depending on your local climate, the wood may expand or contract slightly over time. For this reason, a perfectly flush transition between the wood and aluminum may not always be achievable.
Once Soleil is placed in a stable indoor environment such as a home office, the wood will naturally adjust to the surrounding conditions. After this brief settling period, it should stabilise and remain consistent in appearance, provided the keyboard is not exposed to excessive heat, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
Minor variations in alignment between the aluminium and wood are purely cosmetic and do not affect the structural integrity or function of the keyboard. As climate conditions vary globally, small dimensional changes may also occur during transit or after arrival, which are normal for natural wood products.
The wooden sections may include subtle natural features such as fine grain variation, tonal shifts, and small knots. Where necessary, these knots may be professionally filled to create a smooth and consistent surface. This process preserves the strength of the wood and ensures the visible areas remain refined without affecting durability.
All externally visible wooden surfaces are inspected to ensure they are completely free from scratches or damage prior to shipping.
